HOPE & CHANGE ….. 50’s style

A politician in the mid 50’s talked of hope and change to his people ….

His name, … was Fidel Castro and neither Americans, … nor Cubans, knew he was a Communist, . . . not yet, . . . and no one knew what would happen if he successfully led a revolution which took over his homeland.

We know now.   What’s worse, what’s tragic, . . . . is the Cuban people know!   The face of evil takes many forms!!!

Communists almost always lie to gain power; then the hidden agendas appear and the violence comes.  We also know that tens of thousands died in nearby nations when Fidel sent a friend, Dr. Che Guevarra (who is now, and has been for our last couple of current generation’s . . . hero . . . , a murderer and revolutionary) into the jungles of Central and South America, Che, attempted to foment and lead more revolutions …

The U.S. then, seeing the threat hunted down his band of violent revolutionaries and killed them before all of Central and So. America was set aflame – Thus, F.A.R.C. and the drug cartels can be laid at Fidel and Che’s feet.

Home Schoolers, should be studying just what Che did . . . . and be able to counter this leftist philosophy which is also promoted by Obama, and other Socialist, and Communists throughout our nation.

Gullible Americans helped Castro, but before I remind you of how he talked … about how the rich were evil (not with the same solution “Occupy” has – to eat the rich) … but still being divisive, talking also of how the rich oppressed the people and how it was necessary to redistribute the wealth …. yada, yada . . .

But first, look back for a moment, at this picture!  Did anyone think this little 10 year old (Elian) would be, … should be sent back to Cuba?   His mother and step-father died just off our shore, trying to bring him to a better life ……   Wouldn’t Elian have qualified for Asylum?   His leaving Cuba, his mother and father seeking freedom was certainly more dangerous than Mexicans slipping over the border . . . . . . as a “mule“, carrying drugs for the cartels.

Do you remember who it was, who was in charge back then … during the action to deport Elian?   Yes; it was Janet Reno, who served under Willie Clinton, but do you remember who the Deputy Attorney General was . . . . the one who ordered the ICE “soldiers” in?   It was Eric Holder!   

Holder’s the one who ordered the action to take him from his aunt’s home of refuge …   I didn’t look up when it was that Holder defended the revolutionary terrorists ….. that Clinton pardoned … you can.

This same politician, Castro, attacked religion (much of Cuba had been Catholic), and proceeded to confiscate property, take over and controlled the press, instituted socialized medicine, instituted price controls, and the result was that initiative died and free enterprise was destroyed ……

As more and more of our schools are now mandating that Islam be taught in our schools, Fidel mandated that Marxism be taught in ALL Cuban schools …..

Many, do not understand that Marxism is “revolutionary friendly” to Islam ONLY because of the philosophy of … of those who hate freedom . . . , “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” … at least, for a while.

Is this beginning to ring a bell … sound like someone on today’s political scene?   A similar plan?   Just tweaked a little?   See if you can guess who this man is.

Regulations can destroy free enterprise quicker; productivity can be destroyed by getting people to work fewer hours …..   Today, in Cuba, the average salary is $14, … not $14 / hr, but $14 per MONTH!

No one would do that to the U.S., … would they?
