It’s nearing vacation time again; so gasoline prices have to increase, right?
The explosion, crippling the refinery @ Anacortes, Wa., gives them an excuse to raise prices ….. but, something inside, tells me, ‘if it hadn’t been that, they’d have found another excuse’ ….. One might say ‘I’ve come to expect that of the greedy …..’
Those “in the know”, tell me that petroleum is going to go to over $200 / barrel by the summer of 2011; that translates out to gasoline being well over $4.00 / gallon at the pump …. on its’ way to $8.00!
America’s economy cannot withstand that! Of course, ….. that’s the point ….. the goal …..
Even most tea-baggers will, …. thinking of the wealthy oil magnets, … even if they don’t say it outloud “….. serves the SOB’s right!” when the gasoline companies get taken over by the government.
All in all, it doesn’t mean anything ….. other than even more money will go directly into the coffers of the government (without it looking like they’re the cause of it …. by raising taxes) …. what’s called a “WIN / WIN” for them.
Ford has filed requests to bring the FOCUS into the U.S.; …… they’ve been denied.
“Why?”, you ask.
Because it gets 60 mpg … even the pickup, gets 50 mpg!
…. but Europe’s gasoline has been (understand it’s sold by the litre, but, it translates out to) at well over $4.00 / gallon for a while. Evidently, those in power, want the U.S. bankrupt first, …..
Answer me one question …… now that the “Shot-Heard-Round-The-World” is now, nothing but “an echo of freedom that mankind once knew”, ….. how does it feel ….. reverting to the fuedal system?
Remember, to know what’s going on, ….. one must always look behind the curtain
