The air around us swirls with unseen things . . . oscillations produce various hues of ultra-violet light and sound; radio waves, television, messages on computers fill our daily routines, but spirits and the demonic are somehow taboo to speak of?
At least in reference to what impacts our youths’ minds, they remain taboo. Those who seek to ban evil, must not speak of “entities” … of spirits and demons.
Is it fear of the unknown that causes us to reject … to ignore? Or fear of scoffers?
Ephesians 6:12 states: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
(Whether working through the chemicals in drugs ingested, chemical imbalances in the mind, or “entities” … are there doors we fear to open?)
We now know that in both the Greek and the Hebrew … the words “pharmakakia” (from which we get the English word ‘Pharmacy’) and “Kesep” refer to Drugs and Witchcraft or Sorcery.
