To wrest the power from the corrupt – that’s why!untitled (13)

untitled (14)It was almost a century ago that it began.  On the night of November 15, 1917, thirty-three women stood in front of Woodrow Wilson’s White House, carrying signs asking for the right to vote.  These women were arrested and jailed by forty prison guards who waved clubs, choked, kicked, and beat them, and wrongly accused them of “obstructing sidewalk traffic.”  The right to vote was fought for, and even sacrificed and died for.

untitled (12)Suffragists_Parade_Down_Fifth_Avenue,_1917 (2)It all began before this but the names “Goodman, Schwerner, and Chaney” also live on in the more recent / 1/2 a century ago Civil Rights battle.

But now … vote by mail makes vote theft all the more likely! Voting by computer? Even more so!  Why do the Democrats want to make it so easy to rig the elections?

People died to give you that right.  Please don’t waste it.  Yes; you’re obligated to not only vote but to study the issues, know candidates and understand policies, yet today’s American voters are the most gullible, most apathetic in history!

But, back to the sacrifices …

They beat Lucy Burns and chained her hands to the cell bars above her head, leaving her bleeding and gasping for air as she hung all night. When one of the leaders, Alice Paul, went on a hunger strike, she was tied to a chair while prison guards forced a tube into her throat and poured liquid into her until she vomited (talk about ‘waterboarding’!) This torture continued for weeks. The fight for women’s suffrage continued until 1920 when American women were finally granted the right to vote, and that dark night in Washington went down in history as the “Night of Terror.”

These women were not beaten in the head, thrown into prison cells, and fed worm-infested slop for weeks so that we could apathetically sit in front of our computers and TV on Election Day.

How would these women feel if they saw their daughters, granddaughters, and great granddaughters keeping up with the Kardashians instead of taking the time to become politically aware?  All it takes is a little time – foregoing a little ‘so-called music’ and turning on a talk-show during your drive time / bus time.

Today is the 2014 Midterm Election. It’s time to stand up and be heard. We are praying that people like you don’t miss the chance to … wrest our nation from the hands of the wicked and corrupt!

They stuff their pockets full of our money and ensure jobs for themselves — time to clean SENATE!

About josiahe

Watching closely, working to understand all I may, in this "Age of Information", even from my limited view, I can see much of what's going on ..... and I oft see it's going to impact all of us which is why I share it. My focus is to expose evil, and to serve my Lord and savior Jesus in whatever way He shows me. If one waits long enough, better writers will come along and comment; it's just that I have so little patience with the evil that lurks among us and I've wasted so much time and now, there is so little left! WELCOME!
