The foundation of secular LIBERALISM rests on the belief that A MORAL AMBIGUITY exists. That’s their most pernicious (intentionally malevolent) lie – that there is no absolute morality.
They cannot explain where “EVIL” comes from, nor why some things ‘seem wrong’ to them, but denying there even is an absolute morality, is a major, integral part of their lacking, false belief system.
Their philosophy, tells them – “everything is acceptable; if it feels good, just do it.” They believe man is basically good.
Yet, my presence, on-the-street, showing the violence of abortion, challenges that and they find they must react … their reacting itself, leaves them “unsettled.”
Often, they counter my sign by “condemning the violence of war” … as if it’s a legitimate correlation and justifies abortion.
I make sure at that same moment, they’re looking directly at my 3 foot by 4 foot graphic sign explicitly exposing the ‘violent aftermath’ of an abortion – bloody baby parts, detached arms, legs, decapitation! I’m holding the sign up to them, pleading with them, … “look at ‘this’; please explain to me how doing ‘this’ to a defenseless baby, is OK.”
Doing so, (exhibiting this sign on a public street, in front of an abortion clinic) emotionally shakes many drivers-by.
The secular liberal’s contemporary culture’s neurotic condition compels them to react!
They honk … to confirm that I’ve seen they’re giving me the middle finger. It makes them feel better to do so. A few even circle the block, so they can shout something at me they wish they’d have thought of faster.
They’ve accepted a lie and being confronted that the foundation of their belief system is flawed … it’s the thorniest, most challenging issue they’ve faced. They just don’t get it.
What lie, you ask?
The truth is that man is created in the image of God; his spirit discerns both evil and that man has “fallen” and cannot “get up” on his own!
The secular liberal’s entire belief system must be re-thought, if they don’t reject the concept above … it angers them, and that anger, they know … should not exist … not if their philosophy is coherently-competent.
That anger they’re feeling, confuses the moral high-ground they claim – yet they continue to deny that an absolute moral clarity even exists.
Their belief system, endeavors to present them as “peaceful, congenial people” … It’s failed; right there on the spot, thus, their compelling need to react …
I’ve had violent reactions; I’ve been thrown to the ground, my signs ripped from my hands. Sarah, a courageous, diminutive older lady has too. She now ties her signs to her waist to try and keep others from ripping them from her hands, carrying them off to destroy them.
The Snare:
The liberal’s neurotic condition has left them with a severe desperate need for what I call: “the warm fuzzies” – this “TWF”, the need to experience that warm fuzzy feeling – it’s the only way they can continue to feel good about themselves. Be prepared, as any truth that challenges their ability to remain deceived, must be eradicated.
