When a wordsmith, a poet/songwriter an international iconic performer steps from one stage … the performance stage, over onto another – a “commercial” stage, one rarely takes note, … other than the disdain and the obligatory shaking of one’s head.
But when that performer was, and still is, the one man that has held up to the world that which needed to be questioned, ridiculed, or fought against, … we need to take notice and question – “deep down, at its core, … what’s this all about?”
I contend this is worth a 2nd look! Maybe even a 3rd or 4th; it’s almost another long-awaited, new song … it’s surely much more than his just makin’ money! I contend Dylan is and always was a PATRIOT!
I have to believe that he had a significant hand in the writing, or did it all
- himself; that’s because it even surpasses
- Then again, maybe I’m wrong; the ads did have the same
spirit

And though I’ve not become a Chrysler fan overnight, immediately after the Superbowl, Dylan, with this one ad, calls into question our failing cities, our unions, our work ethic, our loss of sovereignty, and our questionable future in light of globalism, and the coming One-World Government … everything that rings true of patriotism!
You can tell me I’m “reading” way too much into this, and maybe you’d be right, but I had a jeep and I know the quality of engineering in that vehicle; I’m going to be buying a truck in the near future and I’m now considering a Ram! It may not have the best gas mileage, but it’ll pull what I need it to as we traverse our country! It’s time, and I can take my time, this time.
½ time has been prolonged and we wait … not for a leader, but for Americans to rediscover Liberty and Freedom!
