When one hears the words: “SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED”, there’s no doubt about the subject matter … it’s gun control and we’re right in the middle of . . . . an incremental creeping, toward tyranny.
More than 21 million background checks occurred last year, but for 11 straight years the number of gun ownership has increased, yet this increase in background-checks is not enough for those who seek control.
In light of first-responder response time, the only conclusion family leaders can come to, is that we must be able to protect our loved ones until first-responders arrive! Now, reliance on government entities for protection, is waning.
- Now, since the shooting @ Newtown, Ct., nothing’s changed . . . .
- And now that it’s evident that our government is not only ‘picking-and-choosing’ which laws to enforce and which to ignore (a violation of their oath of office) it’s only a matter of time until society is beyond the tipping point.
Our government’s agenda (toward more control / less liberty), is accelerating. Our government officials are not trust-worthy – plus, opposed to our forefather’s wisdom, they still want to take your guns!
Next, Obama’s Dept. of Justice (Eric Holder) will be “clarifying who will be prohibited from owning a gun … because of mental health issues. (Of course, 2nd Amendment activists warn that we’re too close to mimicking the Soviet’s techniques of locking political dissidents away in the gulags or mental health institutions.)
The HHS (Dept. of health & Human Services), has proposed a regulation which gun control advocates have warned about. When doctors, (required by ObamaCare) ask patients about depression, and get a positive response, under this regulation, that info will be required to be forwarded to the National Background Check System, and before an officer can say “Hands Against the Wall”, the public will have their right to own a firearm disappear forever!
Especially since the IRS and other Obama administration scandals, we who advocate for 2nd Amendment rights, predict that this agenda will be used to initiate a look into the political background of the individual . . .
The writing’s on the wall now; allegedly attempting to control violence, they’ve got another contingency — next, they’re also going after ammunition!
