Once a thug, always a thug

By definition, trust is: confidence in, and reliance on … good qualities, especially fairness, truth, honor, or ability.
From another era, we know that leaders inspire and unite.
America’s current dilemma – is to trust or not, for our ‘leader‘ has not inspired our trust.
It’s not just Obama’s lie that has caused us to lose our trust. Over the last few decades, we’ve watched our legislators squander our tax money – for those paying attention, it’s far worse than that.
We’ve watched men die protecting us and saw that our elected officials not get to the “why” of it – – – both Democrats and Republicans pretty much say the right things but accomplish little and hold few if any, accountable!
But we’ve not just watched … we too have ‘Timothy Leary’d’ our responsibilities – we dropped out of our obligations to each other, and sought … trivial at best, … doing our own thing.
We’ve come to realize it’s not just them; we now look out for ourselves; by-in-large, we’ve lost our sense of community nationally, … and because of that, we’ve gotten the government of thieves we deserve.
And now, we realize another’s high-sounding words caused us to trust enough, to follow a man who lied, (even about his mother’s plight) and he then related it to an unfairness we’d all seen … and knowing that it was just not right – that children did not have adequate healthcare … and now millions are impacted negatively.
Wanting altruistic, just systems, we were sucked in, … but it’s time to re-evaluate.
Wisdom from Scripture states: Pv. 15:18 – A wrathful man stirs up strife … That same sentence continues but even by implication, a peaceful man, brings calm and trust back; for the moment, it seems to me Dr. Ben Carson is such a man.
Some saw long ago, that a “community organizer” brought dissention and rallied people together, but to what end? Some warned us not to trust … the gullible did and America elected someone they should not have trusted.
REEVALUATING:
One ‘telltale observation’ leads me to ask: “Has our current ‘leader’ spoken out about the “knockout game?” Why not?
Is (t)his omission intentional? His quick tongue shot off at the mouth all too many times where race was an issue … In yesterday’s blog, I called our president “Trayvon’s surrogate dad”. I stick by that; it’s apropos!
Now we’re being told that he lied to us about Obamacare, because he knew what was best for us!
The gullible will, but should you trust this ‘leader’ again, is the question.
Before you do though, … realize that one schooled in the madrasahs, according to the teaching of Islam’s Qu’ran, is taught that: it is OK to lie to Infidels.
And remember — what is inculcated into us at an early age, becomes part of their character and ultimately, a foundational resource, … a habit.
