SOCIETAL ILLS: Who to Blame ? ? ?

Here’s one perspective:

Snake-oilIn the early 1900’s, “snake-oil salesmen” sold supposed remedies that contained narcotic drugs, potions which masked pain for many patients.   Because diseases went untreated, and pain was ‘masked’ the use of these concoctions, often led to preventable deaths.

foxglove3aWe don’t chew the foxglove plant in lieu of digitalis for heart medicine.  We don’t eat moldy bread for penicillin, the gummy substance from poppy bulbs, nor do we boil willow tree bark into a tea for a headache.  Also we don’t drink a pregnant mare’s urine to replace estrogen.

Yet legitimate drugs were all derived from these naturally occurring substances.  Sick people do further harm to themselves, by self-medication!  That’s an accepted fact!

Smoking marijuana; of an unknown dosage?  Or just considering smoking “medicine”, as a delivery system?   Neither, is wise! inhale-pot

Although many became addicted to these “snake-oil medications,” the intent was, unlike marijuana use,  not recreational.   It’s the desire to get high that drives the pothead!

justaplantBut it was only in the 1980’s that the movement went into full-swing and even began targeting children (publishing books funded by George Soros) – – –

It’s back then that users decided to claim marijuana was medicinal – we have videos (and 3 other videos below, which also expose the scam!  (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22w0BU3YKvw, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_KBPf7ZRf2I, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1nawvEanCk)

The videos are of the leaders of the legalization movement which expose this, and it’s even in their own words – they ridicule their own argument … but as they give it and laugh at it, they state that it will lead to legalization.

It’s doing so as we watch and it’s time to re-evaluate it …

Note that a San francisco study of AIDS patients who use a cannabis club in Oakland found that, on average, “patients” had smoked marijuana for 15 years prior to onset of their disease, so where’s the truth?   The cause & effect?

gay barThere’s a cognitive argument which promotes that it could very well have been marijuana use’s contribution to this permissive behavior which contributed to the ‘patient’s’  bad decisions in the first place — to become involved in this hedonistic, high-risk, homosexual lifestyle in the first place!

a budKnowing the truth, many who’ve seen the damage pot does first-hand, have fought vigorously against legalization, but (as usual) the liberal, traitorous, mainstream media has tipped the scales by joining the push for legalization.

Marijuana, contains thousands of other complex compounds, some therapeutic, some dangerous and harmful.

AnthonyThough claimed to be a ‘passive, mellow, drug, marijuana has become the impetus behind many bad decisions and has let to much more harm than ever predicted.

To date, well over 20,000 scientific studies, many of marijuana’s compounds have been isolated, synthesized and approved for medical use – Sativix is one, and there are others, but the demand of instant gratification … the desire to get high legally, by users won’t wait and many of the compounds, when ignited and inhaled, are severely impacting users.

This headlong rush to legalize is more than “ill- conceived; one could easily make a case that it’s more closely related to … suicidal.crime scene tape1a

Molecular structure and toxicity are not determined by popular vote, the media’s deception¸ nor dramatic appeals exploiting the sick and dying justify the movement’s actions!

Amsterdam red light district2aIt’s no coincidence that the movement is funded by people who are seen as nothing but subversively Anti-American values!

Marijuana is much more powerful than in the 70’s, when it ranged from  0.5 to 2.0 THC content; now, it’s bragged to be pushing 38% and increasing! thumb_blunt_ap_photo1a

It’s become the leading cause of medical and psychiatric emergency room episodes.

  • Pot’s negative impact on the immune system are well-documented.
  • Children born to mothers who smoked pot during pregnancy have more behavioral problems, lower IQ’s and – those children experience 11 times more frequent onset of one type of leukemia. ( Based on research by Dr. L Robison in the publication “CANCER” and Dr. J. Buckley in “Cannabis: Physiopathology, Epidemiology, Detection.)
  • Dr. Akira Morishima, one of the leading specialists in cellular heredity at Columbia University,  has said that in his 20 years of research on human cells he has never found any other drug, including heroin, which approaches the level of DNA damage caused by marijuana!
  • The list of medical and psychological problems of users, is massive, but that’s not the point here.   I’m addressing “legalization”.

chemofcannabis1aAs said of humans “we are what we eat”, … so too are plants, and as the growers add more high-tech chemical solutions to their “grow,” with the sole intent to boost THC levels, … to attain a higher-high, we can expect more maladies to appear, and more bad choices to be made by those willing to risk their mental and psychological well-being.

Cartel consequencesNot to mention the CARTEL / CRIMINAL / Connection, without further study, legalization of marijuana, can only be a mistake.

Not only does this circumvent wise, long-established safeguards, it also diminishes the public perception of just how dangerous this drug is, and the bottom line is that —

mental_patients_1aIt’s our youth, whose natural attribute of breaking from restraints as they mature, who are most at risk.

About josiahe

Watching closely, working to understand all I may, in this "Age of Information", even from my limited view, I can see much of what's going on ..... and I oft see it's going to impact all of us which is why I share it. My focus is to expose evil, and to serve my Lord and savior Jesus in whatever way He shows me. If one waits long enough, better writers will come along and comment; it's just that I have so little patience with the evil that lurks among us and I've wasted so much time and now, there is so little left! WELCOME!
