Obama came out of the shadows because of his inspiring speeches, the final one of which was at the Democrat convention . . . . That could happen again, . . . this time, on the Republican side.
The extremely wealthy Mormon PAC running Mitt’s campaign, thinks they can see the gold ring within its grasp, but is it, . . . and do Republicans seem to be settling?
Even Fox is “selling” us, that’s what is happening, but is it for real? I don’t think so but there’s something inside, that warns me that it could be wishful thinking. Either way, as an independent, I will not go with Mitt!
Mitt’s “Scorched Earth Campaign style (that he has the killer instinct which is needed when he goes up against Obama, the great orator) has, one at a time, eliminated most of his competition, but is that the kind of man we want as president, the kind of man we can trust?
Santorum’s seeming focus on social and moral issues seems to be rejected by those whose focus is on jobs and the economy, but the ‘moral majority’ evangelicals . . . . well, . . . we’re just not buying into Mitt as “the Republican savior.”
Unless something changes, we’re headed for a brokered convention, but many say that’s where Mitt shines! He’ll make deals there, like he did for Bain Capital, with a surgically sharp scalpel and the king-makers are satisfied that he’ll do what they want.
Yet many, in the Christian community, those of us who hope for a brokered convention, do so because there are emotionally stirring Republicans still out there, candidates who would, . . . just as Obama did, and just as Sarah unexpectedly did for McCain, energize the campaign . . . without the base being enthused, it’s all lost!
They’re people we support, and we’re sticking with the “anybody but Mitt” agenda which leaves the door open for the one we want.
I won’t be sold the Obama-like candidates, not with any number of chickens in my pot and that’s where Mitt fits! Nor will I buy into continuing the Bush dynasty or other moderates. This is no time for “settling”!
My favorite is Florida Representative Allen West but there are others out there. My hope is that people will stick with the existing other-than-Mitt candidates and split up the required 1144 votes so badly, no after-the-primary, back-room-deal can be made!
Stick with the plan Republicans . . . . and should we follow II Chronicles 7:14, our only hope, then possibly an inspiring candidate, one like Sara Palin, yet with an understanding of world situations and with no significant skeletons can be found!
When it comes down to the election, . . . . (unless it’s cancelled), and Mitt’s secret underwear is ridiculed by the secular media, a different and truly inspiring candidate is our only hope!
