Decades ago, I learned the dangers of Democracy ….. Basically, it’s mob rule, yet the people clamor for democracy.
There’s a real danger in Democracy – it’s whoever owns the media, then rules the nation and we’re seeing it today.
Back in 1969, after debate, my Political Science professor convinced the class that “Democracy is the Dictatorship of the Majority”.
He then went on to explain why a “Republic”, instead! Today, it’s apparant!
We were to have elected intelligent, moral men, and that would keep America on the right track!
Instead, we elected lawyers and the greedy. They’ve bribed the greedy with their own money. Our plight IS our fault!
With the media (the “watchmen on the wall”, is what they were to be) having failed us …. They were to alert us to the approaching danger …. They were to blow the Shofar and bring us to attention. They’re corrupt as well.
With the President and the legislators now corrupt, … the courts as well, where do we turn? The “OCCUPY” movement? No; they not only don’t get it, they’re no different than the greedy bankers and corrupt on Wall Street! Many just want their bailouts.
I’ll not offer my solution here, but I’ll be honest: I sure don’t trust OCCUPY; few are intelligent, and many of those that are, have sold out to Communism and Socialism. What I will do, is draw you a word picture …. one used by one our founding fathers. It’s simple and well thought out.
Not too long ago, I asked my good friend to deliniate the difference between Freedom and Liberty for me. Today, another friend sent me this!
