BEWARE OF CRICKET PHONE SERVICE

It’s a long story, but I was promised a refund when I changed to another service provider, and not only was it later denied after promising it to me numerous times, but when I went into their office to talk with them, they walked away mid-conversation and treated me as if I were an idiot, laughing at me when I tried to continue to talk with them ….

I’d called in to cancel my phone service the day before it was due, and they said it was too late to cancel, and that I’d be better off calling the next Monday and ask for a refund for the month.   I accepted that but didn’t call monday.  Instead, I went in a couple days later and received a signed receipt saying I’d get a refund.

After 3 phone calls promising me it was in the mail, I went in again where the supervisor told me that my refund (for almost a full month of service) had been denied.   She walked away, went over to her employees and began pointing at me and laughing.   I asked her if she’d continue our conversation and from the other side of their store, she told me “you have your answer sir; your refund has been denied.”

I became angry and explained trying to speak loud enough to hear (I’m hard of hearing) that they’d broken their promise …. asking if they’re used to ripping people off ….. etc.   They asked me to leave the store or they’d call the police.   I asked them to go ahead and do so, stepped outside, and waited.

A friend whose husband is also a business owner came up to me, gave me a hug and asked how things were going and I began to tell her the problems I had with Cricket and they weren’t to be trusted; she shared with me the problems the (ridiculous problems they werehaving.

The police showed up and one went inside and one talked with me.   Carol explained what had happened to the officer as the officer came out from inside with the story that I’d been accousting customers – a lie.   Carol had come over to me rather than going inside.

I’ve made numerous calls, left messages, sent emails and zero response.   Warn your friends about Cricket!

Also, try to get a person you can understand when you call them for an issue – near impossible!   Also they’re violating the law in two ways: 1) it’s illegal to dun people via mail on a postcard.   The mail they sent me trying to get me to re-sign up with them states: “don’t worry about your unpaid balance; we’ll wave it.”  2) when you ask someone in a foreign country to be transferred to the United States, they’re required to by law.   Cricket says they don’t have the capability to do that.

About josiahe

Watching closely, working to understand all I may, in this "Age of Information", even from my limited view, I can see much of what's going on ..... and I oft see it's going to impact all of us which is why I share it. My focus is to expose evil, and to serve my Lord and savior Jesus in whatever way He shows me. If one waits long enough, better writers will come along and comment; it's just that I have so little patience with the evil that lurks among us and I've wasted so much time and now, there is so little left! WELCOME!
