America: At war with itself!
News is no longer news, but is it being censored? There’s more than ample proof, that it is, ….. or at the very least, most conservatives admit that it’s obviously “managed”!
All one has to do is to find reliable sources abroad, then watch and wait to see if it is reported in the American media. One will find that America is living in the Dark Ages of News.
Some stories are never covered; some are squelched by page placement; some are reported when only the “faithful ” will hear! We’re down to only a hand-full of press owners – easy to manage just half a dozen media syndicates / conglomerates. Plus, America’s independent newspapers are dropping like flies…… (Would you be surprised to learn even ESPN is owned by the Hurst Corporation?)
For those who want the truth, one must follow it, … wherever it leads!
Truth has no agenda so the unwillingness to tell the truth (even, the refusal to read it), reveals itself to be agenda-driven.
For many, those who really don’t want the truth, ….. (recognizing it threatens their belief system), instead, they’ll research for, read and listen to opinions, … ONLY, if it agrees with what they already believe.
Anything else, is promptly dismissed. I identify these people as “sheeple”. They’re present in both conservative and liberal circles surrounding themselves with the like-minded, … and the polarizing continues.
If you want to learn whether you’re receiving the truth though, whatever your interests or needs are, … the easiest / quickest way to research the reliability of (or should I say “unreliability of America’s media), is to surf recommended international news sites. I’ve developed a number of my own … Unfortunately, it’s not an instant fix; it takes a while to find reliable sources and to identify the unreliable ones. The amount of mis-information on both ‘sides’ wildly outnumbers and overshadows the truth.
Regarding American media, you may ask, “Wait What about “X or Y” – that’d be Fox News if you’re right wing or maybe CNN, MSNBC, ABC, etc. if you’re left. They’re controlled as well, and if you believe they’re not, please notice that most all of their commentators are ….. Lately, many are coming out of their “Ideological closets.”
Some, like Bill O’Reilly think they’re “fair and balanced”, but that’s a judgment call; he attempts to “prove that” to his readers by pointing out differing opinions on both sides, leaving him in the center. His political slant depends upon the particular political glasses one sees through.
Chris Matthews would also claim to be an unbiased ‘straight shooter’ but listen to his excited inflections, and the “gushing” in his voice.
Or, look at a candidate: Ron Paul gets no coverage from the media, though before the debates, he led the polls. One would think that that leading candidate would have gotten the most time, or at least on par with the other major contenders. He did not! Instead, he not only had a “fraction” of the time, …. he was ridiculed by the moderator.
Guaranteed, for one to speak of Abolition of, or Auditing the Federal Reserve and certain other topics, is political-suicide! That does not fit into the puppet-masters’ plans – they’ll secretly cringe and cower before they attack.
Yet today, an economist floats the government’s plan for a One-World Currency. (They’ve evidenced that they’ve done so well with this current one, they want to cede to another????, one which insures the U.S. will become a 3rd world nation!)
It’s not uncommon to be filled with hate now-days; our leader’s polarizing has done that. Look, for instance, at Glenn Beck’s popularity; and now, having announced that he’s leaving his program on Fox News, he leaves many with “I told you so’s” …… from both sides of the political spectrum.
I suspect though, that it’s a move to take the intense heat off Fox, not off himself. Hating Hannity has become an oddity, now that Beck’s been on the scene. The hate-anything-Beck crowd, Soros’ employees and supporters, INCLUDING the U.S. Government, are powerful, and they do, (ALL OF ‘EM), … have an agenda!
And like the Tucson shooter, Loughner said, … they express it and control things, … via the manipulation and twisting words …… like “truther” and “birther” and accusing others of “violent rhetoric” ….…
My take on the government’s not-so-subtle-agenda? It can be summarized in the title above.

This is why I go to BBC News for my information. It’s not just the lack of bias, it’s the fact that they report on international news, period, as opposed to just American stories the way American media do.
Der Spiegel is also good, as is Israel National Radio ….
