Is the evil being promoted by President Obama, drawing out the indignation of a man marching to the drumbeat of MLK?
Rev. Anthony Evans, head of the National Black Church Initiative, is saying “because President Obama has failed to uphold the teachings of Christ, …. that marriage is between a man and a woman”, that “his organization of 34,000 churches, must reassess their extra-ordinary support for him!”
As a Christian Pastor, heading up such a huge organization, …. of thousands of churches, ….. full of Obama’s former base, ….. there are indications that Rev. Evans may be the real deal – that he’s opposed the correct things and that he and Obama have come to a parting of the “waves”.
Reverand Evans’ opposition of the Gay and Lesbian Alliances seems, and is just the opposite of Obama’s attempt to make a transformational change to Socialism along with his refusal (yesterday) to defend (DOMA) The Defense of Marriage Act!
U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder’s job is NOT to say what he feels “can be defended”! Rather, it is to defend the law’s on the books whether he likes them or not! His miscarriage of justice in Philidelphia’s Voter Intimidation case was shameful; so was his part in the Elian Gonzalez case while an underling in the Clinton Administration under Janet Reno ….. Then there’s also Waco …..
