Remember the scandal about Fergie, the Duchess of York, and her supposedly selling access to her politician husband?
That part could be true, but ….. even if it were, there’s much more to the story.
Turns out, just like Princess Di,, she’s a real live heroine.
Regarding the “scandal,” it seems there was a plot afoot to intentionally smear her and she fell right into it. Whether that was true or not should not take away from the evil and injustice she exposed.
About the time Turkey was to be allowed into the European Union, she’d exposed the deplorable situation in Turkish orphanages by making a documentary. Some, politicians didn’t like that …
In Sarah Ferguson’s documentary it clearly shows all children within the home being tied down to beds, to chairs and have their hands and feet bound, all to assist the workers who are overwhelmed by the numbers of children being abandoned and the lack of financial assistance from the Turkish government.
In Turkey, it’s a cultural thing, ….. to be a disabled child, …. a poor, and disabled child in Turkey who, through no fault of their own, find themselves abandoned at Orphanages ….. There, as it is classed as shame, to have a child with a disability, they need help …..
The Duchess herself has worked to improve the lives of children over the past 15 years, using funds from her commercial work and private donations to help care for children with Aids and build schools for deprived children in Africa.
