UPDATE: Though this post is old – (note the date) nothing has changed except Obama (saying he seeks freedom for these peoples is lying) – one can only say this is intentional. Now the Muslim Brotherhood is in charge and there is less freedom.
DUH! It’s those who make the decisions …..
Many Egyptians cannot feed their families; inflation has hit hard! They’ve always been a poor nation; over 40% live on less that $1/day; now, the cost of bread alone (a staple there) has risen 36%!
The government and media, are lying to us; (Secy. of State Clinton) is now saying the riots exhibit a ‘desire to be free’. Though that is true, it’s deceptive!
Don;t believe the cry for freedom; it’s being used by the enemy! Over the long haul, America’s (covert) domestic policies have had a major part in designing these riots!
Prefacing this with admitting Obama saw this crisis coming and was working in the right direction (albeit too slowly), it’s the long haul …. has been the problem. One of America’s largest export items for decades, has been wheat. Less wheat is now being grown and exported, because farmers have decided to plant corn – to take advantage of the demand – nothing unusual. One cannot blame farmers, most are small businessmen and they’ve simply learned and responded to the precept of Supply and Demand.
When government seemingly makes an incredibly stupid move, (such as putting ethanol in our fuel, and then doesn’t repeal it when the facts show they should, often, something else is going on and they’re hiding it! Pushing Ethanol here, was part of that scheme.
Over the last few years, farmers have opted for planting more corn instead of wheat. The corn is in high demand because of the Ethanol. Why is it that the American people don’t demand an end to ethanol in the fuel? We should; look at the facts:
- Ethanol ruins small engines like lawnmowers, snow-blowers, etc.
- Ethanol runs worse in watercraft – and draws water to the fuel … additional problems.
- Ethanol costs more than gasoline – why add ethanol to gasoline?
- Does it make sense to destabilize the world food, to drive cars when it costs more than gasoline?
- Ethanol is more expensive; which is why the price at the pump is higher.
- The government subsidizes ethanol and charges tariffs on foreign ethanol.
Choosing to plant more corn and less wheat, has also caused the price of wheat to increase as well; that’s especially true in Egypt!
The media won’t connect the dots for you! All you hear from America’s corrupt media is that the rioters in the streets in Cairo, state that the riots are motivated by a desire to be free. Oh, the leftists will tell you the Marxist line (that we have Egypt torture POW’s – and that’s true), but they don’t lay out but one side.
Starve the world, and push up prices at the pump? …… whose SICK IDEA is this?
The media is owned by leftists, … people who purposefully feed you and I misinformation! Why are they not exposing this, instead of covering it up? Ask the Mega-Wealthy who control the markets. It’s not just corruption; it’s also manipulation!
Yes; there’s a lack of freedom there, but the riots are more economic. The people in Egypt, unless they are “connected” cannot even purchase a home. America supported Mubarak …. now, we’re allowing the enemy to bring him down. That could be a good thing, but the enemy will exploit it all.
I’ve not examined the riots in Tunisia as yet, but in Egypt, there’s a larger plan at work here. Always, always, always, ….. look behind the curtain.
