Citizenship ONLY for those who pursue it legally!
The practice of automatically making “anchor babies” CITIZENS, was never intended to be used by Democrats to bring in more illegal aliens who would likely continue to vote them into office, but that’s what is happening and it sure seems intentional.
The 14th Amendment was established because of slavery and was appropriate to do so, …. for that reason.
Rep. Steven King of Iowa, has introduced a bill that would more closely follow the intention of those that wrote and promoted the 14th Amendment. Anchor babies would be outlawed unless one parent was already a naturalized citizen.
The way it stands now, it is a magnet which draws millions of illegal aliens to violate the law and cross into America hoping to become citizens, but it does so by making them break the nation’s laws to begin with! It’s helping to bankrupt America!
Please support HR 140. We have no opposition to granting citizenship to those who do it legally!

And don’t forget that it was President Obama’s Attorney General Holder, who enforced the return of Elian! Yet, he filed suit against Arizona and all they were doing was trying to force the government to do its’ job!
Anchor babies also allow parents of Terrorists who’ve crossed into America illegally and had children, to become citizens.
More commonly, the terrorists come to America as students, then become lost and live here as “sleepers” waiting to act. Our entire immigration system needs to be re-examined!
