The DARK SIDE OF DC!
The saving grace here, is that Wednesday, as the 112th session of Congress begins, the House holds the purse strings. Tea Party members, Republicans, fiscal conservatives and those fearing not being re-elected, in the House of Representatives, may be able to back it’s rhetoric with action; we’ll see.
As all spending bills must originate in the House, if they decide NOT to fund something, it can die; it doesn’t matter what legislation’s been passed, if there’s no money.
That said, it now appears as if the House might be focused enough to stop ObamaCare, defunding it.
While the House still plans on rejecting the futile grandstanding republican’s symbolic repeal vote, by Representative Steve King, there is a plan that would actually stop ObamaCare in its tracks — defunding it!
It’s simple: This’s put up or shut up time!
Of course this could lead to mass demonstrations and even violence by those who do not understand the precarious fix the U.S. is in, but defunding Obamacare is a last-minute “Hail Mary”. If they have the intestinal fortitude to withstand the demands of the “entitled”, it could be written into something that can fix a number of the unfair parts of the health care. The way it was, it needed to be fixed.
Knowing this frivolous-spending administration, is more than willing to bankrupt us, (truthfully, it seems as if it’s their intent) we have no other alternative! Let’s forego the grandstanding and go for the jugular! It’s do or die!
It’s not like we don’t have other things that concern us and SHOULD concern Obama!
