The Village People performing "YMCA" - were they warning you or attracting pedophiles?
I published this a few days ago, and used a different headline. If it didn’t impact your decision making, that was possibly a dis-service to you; I apologize! I needed to get your attention and do this correctly – this headline’s what it should have been!
I’m sure you’ve heard – New York’s West Village’s YMCA has now kicked Santa out, but it has nothing to do with just being – “politically correct“. It’s more than that …. much more than that!
My older brother (who lived the gay lifestyle) told me that the gays had taken over the “Y” he’d stayed at – that all the homosexuals knew they were not just accepted there, but they had control. He told me this a number of decades ago. (A couple friends who follow my blog, told me they’ve known for decades, as well and that it’s not just the West Village “Y”.)
Why my brother told me, I never quite figured out, …. not for sure, but I now think maybe, he was protecting me …. He knew how naïve I was and thinking that I just might follow in his footsteps and think it was ok to stay there, he explained it wasn’t ok, and exactly why. I was floored! If you doubt this, think back a decade or so about the song, “YMCA” and ….. get the picture?
Later, he settled into the San Francisco scene and when I’d visit him, though he enjoyed embarrassing me, he still respected me – he let all his friends know who I was, and where I drew the lines. With that in mind, I found I liked many of his friends …. not all, but many.
He married once, a gal he met; she’d been a tourist from Quebec when they met. Bob was a “ladies man”; good looking, he often lived off women. Women usually mistook him for younger than I. I visited, during that time ….. It took me several days to catch on that they (he and Carol) were giggling at me, every morning, when I emerged from my “room”. They’d stored their roll-away in (what had been), their walk-in closet. They broke down and told me, … ‘cause they admitted their friends were sure to tease me about it (they’d all laughed about it together) and figured I ought to understand. Eventually I found I could laugh at it too, like now.
Bob became a fanatic Christian before he died …. He never told me it was AIDS but I suspect(ed) it was – he called it “chronic wasting” ….
I’m sure this recent episode (banning Santa) at the West Village “Y”, has to do with Christianity’s fundamental opposition to homosexuality over the years; I suspect that it’s just that now, they thought they could get away with it and no one would “out them”.
The media is still not doing so — out of fear? Gays are a vindictive and even violent bunch, after all. It’s not surprising that they see “Santa” as a Christian symbol and feel the need to strike out.
There were many of his friends I liked and got along with (w/in limits of course) but now, in this political climate, ….. as the spoiled hedonists, they are, … they want their way, …. and they want it NOW! And they’re angry at Christians over their “perceived persecution.”
There’s another and more important reason for you to understand the connection ….. just in case you haven’t figured it out …… What does the “Y” in YMCA stand for? It’s where the children are dropped off by self-centered “christians” and those children are vulnerable to “role models.”
Tell me …… doesn’t it make sense that pedophiles would congregate where children are?
Understand; these are evil times. Predators exist. Protect your children!
