An article by Sara Jerome – writing for “Hillicon Valley”, announced Friday, that the investigative arm of the Homeland Security Department appears to be seizing domain names while shutting down websites on the internet.
Although George Soros, (Big Brother himself) has been having his non-profit organization Open Society, studying how totalitarian nations successfully shut down communications over the net, …. so far, here …., it’s only those that facilitate copyright infringement.
As these sites are possibly violating copyright material, and though this is possibly warranted, but Homeland Security’s involvement nor ICE’s involvement are NOT the government’s proper venues.
Just who is the Department of Homeland Security serving? ICE appears to be targeting sites that help Internet users download copyrighted music, as well as sites that sell bootleg goods, such as fake designer handbags … Designer handbags? Guess that could be Janet Napolitano!
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has seized dozens of domain names over the past few days, according to TorrentFreak.
For instance, borntrade.com, 51607.com, and amoyhy.com have each been seized. One of the site’s owners told Torrent Freak that his site was shut down without any notice or warning.
The sites are replaced with a note from the government: “This domain named has been seized by ICE, Homeland Security Investigations.” 
The effort comes as Congress considers one of many business-stifling bills – the Combatting Online Infringement and Counterfeits Act (COICA).
