Recently, a former Michal Moore fan and cop (Charles Davis) wrote: “Cops to California Voters: Legalize It!” He stated that 30 cops and judges supported California’s Proposition 19 – legalization of marijuana. Wow! All of 30?
When one looks at the numbers, one realizes, it’s a joke but let’s examine just that aspect of his propaganda. In America, there are approximately 700,000 current police officers. I don’t know the numbers of retired officers and judges, but it’s not an insignificant level either, especially when one realizes all the levels of our judicial system!
Of 700,000 cops, LEAP (organization of cops and former cops) claims (if it’s true) a membership of 7500. There are wackos in every profession. All of 30 cops and former officers have come out in support of Proposition 19 – legalization of pot! That number is miniscule in light of the membership of LEAP, much less the number of law enforcement officers in America!
That in itself, tells one, what a bad law Proposition 19 is! Marijuana and other drugs enslave, no matter what the profession. Judge accordingly.
