Politicians have always had their hands in our pockets for their benefit.
Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it. This picture, though from the Chicago’s 1934 Tribune, and though depicting politicians of another day, it tells us:
1) this is not new; politicians have always used our money to drive their agendas, and
2) this time, the accusation, (down in the left hand corner) …. spending to bankrupt America is purposeful …. note that it’s Karl Marx, expounding on the evils of capitalism, (what made America the envy of the world) and telling us how to bring about CHANGE!
