Like a poisoned oaisis, the waters of the world are to turn “bitter”.

As if the oil spill weren't bad enough, we add more toxic chemicals.

Scripture says so; scripture has never been wrong, nor will it be!

Whether the chemicals put into the water to disperse the oil, will evaporate with the water or . . . whether they won’t, is an unknown.  Here’s a link to another, ….. (although probably not a believer) a great blog:

Whether the natural evaporation, or the help of hurricanes will be the means by which these chemicals, and/or the oil itself, will be dispersed into the waters of the world, fouling them, is also conjecture – – – another unknown.

The “known” is . . . . the waters of Earth are to turn bitter.

Granted, the “how” this will happen, is conjecture . . . . when one attempts to predict how it will happen – meaning, which of our actions will cause what is going to happen, one can easily be wrong, but the water turning foul, is going to happen!

Some translate the Hebrew root word, (most versions of scripture, translate it as “wormwood”) to mean “Chernobyl” instead of “bitter.”   (Hebrew words have several levels of meaning and interpretation is not easy.)

They’re scholars; I’m not.   Those who believe the Chernobyl scenario (that radioactivity will be the cause of what causes the water to turn bad) may very well be correct.

Knowing scoffers await, to condemn every believer’s words, I repeat . . . sometimes scripture is hard to decipher, but …. “scripture has never been wrong, nor will it be!”

The chemicals being used to disperse the oil in the Gulf are dangerous!

Read about them.   Why do you think BP won’t allow their employees to speak to reporters?

So too, are  other chemicals we use – fertilizers, (all types of greed-motivated toxic chemicals, ‘fattening agents’ … what we feed our food), as well as pharmaceutical medicines flushed, crushed and passed through the body that find their way back into the waters of the world.  It’s almost as if we knew what we’re doing ….

Earth’s water is a closed system; it evaporates, transpires, and falls back to earth.

Though we use it to disperse our waste and pollution, much of it is cleansed by God-designed natural processes – falling onto the ground and passing through its’ natural cleansing process, porous and permeable rock, sand, dirt and diluting and dropping some pollutants / chemicals which are suspended in it.

Thinking we know what we’re doing, using scientific processes, knowing how badly we foul it, we attempt to further cleanse our drinking water which comes from the rivers and wells.   What the earth’s processes haven’t cleansed, we then treat with more (mostly questionable) chemicals.

For the believer, it’s simple.   God told us to take dominion over the earth for a purpose

That purpose was to allow us to discover, that we don’t understand the interconnectedness of everything – – – to allow our arrogant thinking and subsequent actions, to prove to us, that we (including our greatest and wisest scientists) just don’t have a clue!

It’s part of getting us to face those ‘ultimate questions which He put into our very nature . . . . “Who am I?”   “Does God exist?”   “What is life about?”   “Is there a purpose?”   Things like this, were to, hopefully, cause us to open our eyes and our minds.

Everything He did was to lead us back to Him, to make his existence obvious, but . . . we’ve rejected Him and continued on to find our own way.

He gave us free will – allowed us to make our own choices.   Not only did he leave us clear instructions, he left us encoded messages, he told us what we’d have to do to prove His existence.   Yet we ignore it and proceed, just as if we knew what we’re doing.

About josiahe

Watching closely, working to understand all I may, in this "Age of Information", even from my limited view, I can see much of what's going on ..... and I oft see it's going to impact all of us which is why I share it. My focus is to expose evil, and to serve my Lord and savior Jesus in whatever way He shows me. If one waits long enough, better writers will come along and comment; it's just that I have so little patience with the evil that lurks among us and I've wasted so much time and now, there is so little left! WELCOME!
