I was there 40 years ago …. Were you?
I was there when the plan was laid out for us, … for all the dope-smoking anti-war radicals, ….
It was after Kent State, I was among thousands of others, at a conference at USC. All across the nation, great speakers had called together all the radicals.
At USC, it was Carl Oglesby, Carl Hess and others; one by one, they moved us from one emotion to another ….. from rage to laughter, from tears to an emotional high ….. and back to rage again.
There are people that can do that still. Today, it’s Obama; 70 years ago, for the German people, it was Hitler.
This same scenario, was being duplicated at major universities all across the nation …..
Once they had us in the palm of their hands, they garnered a promise from us ……
What they asked of us, was a commitment to change the world!
They made us promise, to stay in school, to become the teachers and professors of tomorrow …..
That was then. This is now …..
Now, their goal has been accomplished. They’ve inculcated a whole generation and a half …..
Obama as president, is the evidence! They’re no longer the inmates. They’ve control of the Institution!
