Before anything else is said, I have a question! If health care reform was so important, . . . . why was all that money spent on PORK and EARMARKS? Now, we don’t have the money!
Health care reform is needed, but what kind? Electronic records . . . . Sounds good, right?
It does UNTIL one considers hackers.
Or until one considers that any confidential statement to a doctor that one has had trouble with any symptom considered as mental illness will be in that file forever!
Until businesses hire “investigator” – hackers to look into medical records . . . .
And don’t even consider what government can do with access!
Simplistic answers leave loopholes and unintended consequences the size of Canada to drive through!
