STIMULUS $50 MILLION FOR FISH FOOD

Do you eat “planters”?   Living in Oregon, trout, are the fisherman’s focus.   State hatcheries feed the smolt and produce billions – most don’t make it in the wild – just part of the food chain.

Fish farms are having a hard time purchasing food and evidently need subsidizing …

Although I catch and release in inland waters, I don’t bother with trout; I quit eating them 25 years ago – they taste like mush; the meat is not white and flaky . . . . and they’re not much fun to catch.   One can tell the difference when they’re on the line!

The point of this?   $50 million of stimulus money is going for fish food – the couch potato food for fish and your stimulus money is fattening them up for your dinner table.

Just how many jobs this $50 million will produce is not revealed.   Fish farm foods are known to color their meat to disguise the fact that they’re not native.   What other additives?   Why this junk food?

Do you trust farm-raised and last minute fattened food?   Most of us don’t have a choice; we eat what the grocery store shelves.   It’s the last minute additives, to fatten the cattle (and catfish, trout, and salmon) for market that contains the questionable additives.   More profit for the farmer = more fat and steroids for the consumer?   Thanks Mr (p)Resident.

About josiahe

Watching closely, working to understand all I may, in this "Age of Information", even from my limited view, I can see much of what's going on ..... and I oft see it's going to impact all of us which is why I share it. My focus is to expose evil, and to serve my Lord and savior Jesus in whatever way He shows me. If one waits long enough, better writers will come along and comment; it's just that I have so little patience with the evil that lurks among us and I've wasted so much time and now, there is so little left! WELCOME!
