Tiller donated to her campaigns and Pro-Life advocates say she made it hard for him to be prosecuted – quit-pro-quo . . . . .

At $5,000 / abortion, that would come to $300 Million! It was big business! Tiller was said to abort the babies of young girls without complying with the law in a number of ways – one was reporting to the state cases of incest and rape.
It was not unusual to see “patients” being rushed to the hospital from his clinic; only over the last few years, did they begin calling ambulances; before that, they were trying to keep a low profile. Recently, Tiller and crew were frustrated because it seemed as if . . . . . well, let’s be accurate here; it’s said the anti-abortion movement had someone inside, feeding information to Operation Rescue.
The assassin was said to be in his 50’s or 60’s, and fled in a blue Taurus, but recent reports are that a suspect is in custody! Tiller whined to the media that he and his employees had received threats and harassment for years. Tiller had been previously shot in 1993 and his clinic had been bombed in 1984. My understanding is he got $5,000 for every late-term abortion performed in his clinic and he was the only doctor in the U.S. doing them.
Can (p)Resident Obama be blamed for re-opening this bloody wound? I suspect so. Operation Rescue, however, promptly issued a statement that they condemned the shooting. They’d been legally trying to get Tiller’s clinic shut down.
Remember the man dressed as a cockroach that dogged Governor Sebelius? That came from the pictures from inside the clinic, showing the filth and dead roaches.
Recent attempts to pursue the legal prosecution of Tiller the Killer (as he was known throughout the anti-abortion movement) were frustrated mainly by Governor Sebelius and those under her. this latest round was for not really getting a 2nd opinion from an unassociated doctor, that the abortions were deemed “necessary.” He’d had an employee give the 2nd opinion – though a flagrant violation, . . . Tiller was again found innocent! Helps to have friends in high places!
My final comment: Though no doubt, some other evil incarnate will step up and fill his place, I hope and pray that doctor Tiller knew what was coming so that he could call upon the name of God . . . . as his last chance for salvation. He died today, at a little after noon.
