Hate, bigotry and prejudice of Christians is still acceptable; it’s the only group that it is acceptable . . . . O’Reilly has it right, on this one. It’s the Progressives, the seculars, against the Christians. If they could, they’d throw us to the lions; they hate us that much.
On another wordpress site, where I’d joined in a conversation, some gal (I suppose) attacked Christianity. She, Ally, accused “both the religious right of being like the Muslim extremists . . . . being equal participants in leading us into this never-ending war”.
She doesn’t get it! She wants to believe that, I understand. It’s her own bigotry and intolerance that makes her quick to spout / expouse her hate.
She cannot see that she is being a bigot.
I’ve found that when someone tries to point out a religious person’s intolerance and/or hatred, and the person they’re trying to point out is a Christian, yet doing something that’s unethical, it’s usually someone who is not walking the walk and is Christian in name only – in other words they’re an impostor. If this is so, and it is, then why do they hate the Christians? Why not hate the impostors?
There are many imposters in the Christian churches.
Dennis Rader was an infamous impostor – he was known as “The BTK Killer”. He held a position in the church – elder, I believe.
I assume you’ll agree with me, that his position as an Elder, did not mean he was a good person. So he was basically an imposter. He used his position in the church to make him look good – a very common game. In fact, very evil people often do that . . . . there’s a purpose to why they do that. Some people are just trying to look good, but very evil people long to make good people look bad.
It grieves me that I have to spell this out for people – they ought to be able to figure this out for themselves!
It also grieves me that, they’ve (for some reason) come to the place to where they want to believe this about Christians . . . . usually it’s been some experience with someone who is actually an imposter, and again, it’s a shame they can’t figure it out on their own that that person is only a Christian because of how it makes them look.
Scripture calls these people “tares” – what it’s saying is these people are ‘weeds in the field of harvest’. Some of these people are self-deceived; some are total impostors, like the BTK Killer.
Justification of the war, I’ll go into later . . . . that’s not so easy a question.
Both the impostors and the nominal Christians are dangerous as they’re the reasons people look with disgust at the real Christian . . . . . Both drive people from the truth, which is the aim of evil!
So when someone tells you they’re a Christian, listen closely … watch closely … If they’re really Christians, they’ll be exhibiting the behavior of someone trying to walk as Christ did; that’s not to say they won’t fail; we all fail, but just beware; in my opinion, there are more tares than real Christians.
The really strange part of all this is that in end times, Christians are to be hated . . . . . Seems as if we’re not far off from that, huh?
