27 out of a graduating class of approximately 1200 boycotted the ceremony and held their own . . . . To thunderous applause (as the media described it) and a standing ovation. the liberal pseudo-Catholic audience of 12,000, welcomed the (p)Resident.
As noted in the former post, few will stand and state they oppose the (p)Resident; it’s the office that demands respect, not necessarily the occupant, but 3 people interrupted his speech, one yelling, “Stop killing the children!”
The zombie-like audience, obviously not realizing what they were agreeing with, (the murder of preborn children) began to chant “Yes, we can!”
The (p)Resident did backpeddle on one hotly contested aspect of his stance with the pro-abortion community.
Unexpectedly, pragmatic politics reared it’s head at the “celebration” . . . .
Knowing one aspect of this, would tear the health care community apart and cause many to abandon his side, even cause a massive exodus of health care worers from the profession – even from the nation, . . . .
. . . and that eventually, he would loose on this issue, he said he would allow a “sensible conscious clause”, which would allow a physician or nurse to refuse to perform participating in an abortion. He really had no option.
