You too need to be outraged . . . . and why is this, only now, coming to the forefront? It’s in the Supreme Court, now.
The case, is over the principal of a school who . . . . then, wrestled with the appropriateness of a strip-search of a 13-year-old girl accused of having prescription-strength ibuprofen.
So, if this is not dealt with appropriately, they can stripsearch your middle-school daughter?
See: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090421/ap_on_go_su_co/us_scotus_school_strip_search; and she does not have the right to call her mother before being searched? Tell me, who thinks they have the “right” to do this!
Or, (let’s bring in another issue) they can take her for an abortion and not tell you, her parents, but . . . .
If this is not Big Brother out of control, what is?!
You think taxes will bring people into the streets? Try messing with our children, this way!
I can tell you, had it been my little girl, it would have taken extreme restraint on the part of those who love me to keep me from tearing this principal apart limb from limb; this principal is lucky! Lucky, he didn’t get killed! If the “right” to do this kind of thing, is is not repealed, . . . . it will happen!
And, … if the parents had taken a gun to the principal, the parents would not have been convicted if I’d have been on the jury!
As a sidenote: President Obama just pulled the funding for Charter Schools that have an incredibly good record – schools that spend 1/2 of what the government spends to “educate” them via public education in D.C. . . . .
The children in these Charter schools are to be sent back to public schools. He sure cares for the poor and downtrodden in D.C., doesn’t he?
In light of this, if you leave your children in schools like this, where these things can happen to your children, you too need a psychiatrist! Of course, some say, home-schooling will soon be outlawed as well.
