Evidently, it was covered up to hide the mismanagement of both BP and our State Department, . . . it was kept out of America’s news …. the media again?

It was (2010) in the Caspian Sea. The interviewee, (I don’t remember who it was) said it was “kept hidden ’cause the State Department has been a viable, but unofficial arm of the Oil Industry and they didn’t want the whole scenario of mis-managment exposed!”

And subsequently, President Obama had a chance to bring tens of thousands of jobs to America, and he just failed us again! 

It becomes more and more apparent that I’ve been correct all along; he’ll take every opportunity to miss an opportunity!    I’m confident his intent is to bring America down – financiall as well as militarily.  

I call this man a TRAITOR!  

Understand that I’m an environmentalist and think that “FRACKIN” is dangerous, and that to bring this oil into and across American heartland must be done with the most cautious and highest technology, but we need the jobs!  

Of course his action could be because (though Obama calls Chicago his home), the jobs would be benefiting the HEARTLAND, where most of his opposition resides!

She’d worked for freedom of women in Iran, as well as other civil rights for Iranian women.  

This shows how dangerous it is to reveal the massive shortcomings of Iran’s fundamental sects of Islamic Religion, and confirms how fears over “honor killings” are justified.

At this point, no one has taken credit for the assassination.

WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!   REMEMBER ALL THE OTHER PRESIDENTS WITH THEIR DOGS COMING OFF THE PLANE WITH THEM???   NOT THE OBAMA’S …

I guess since they had to swallow their pride and use the Gulfstream there just wasn’t enough room for the dog and one other person.

Did you know the President flew BO, the dog, in on a separate smaller jet to Maine for their vacation????  

He’s said he’s a Christian, not a Muslim, yet that’s not the only instance of this.

Wonder if that sets well with all the unemployed, hurting, US citizens who can’t afford food, but we can pay for this.   The above is true.

The president was the first to walk onto the tarmac, dressed casually in a pale blue Oxford shirt and khakis.

A few minutes later, the first lady, dressed in black caprice, a tank-top and sandals, walked onto the runway.   Shortly afterward, Malia and Sasha joined their parents.   Baldacci and his wife, Karen, presented the family with gift bags full of Maine-made goodies.

Arriving in a small jet before the Obama’s was the first dog, Bo, a Portuguese water dog given as a present by the late U.S Sen. Ted Kennedy, D-Mass.; and the president’s personal aide Reggie Love, who chatted with Baldacci.

The president who said the rest of us are going to have to sacrifice to get out of these hard economic times let his dog fly on his own plane?   Not enough room on Air Force One for a Portuguese water dog and Reggie Love?

OH, by the way, Mr. Love, Bo’s handler, is paid $102,000.00 a year to take care of him.

They ignored the harm done by the ever-increasing THC content … increased by growers, and despite the new studies showing the psychological damage done, especially to the youth of America, these legalizers sought to become mega-wealthy and opened dispensaries in Colorado.

The media published stories that make them look like heroes …. as if they’re standing for freedom, but in all reality, they’re no better than the slave traders over the last few hundred years. 

They’ve worked the media and now revert back to the past and have become Snake-Oil-Salesmen, deluding the public, getting them to claim that pot is a medicine.

Many naturally occurring substances have medicinal qualities but are not safe …  Those substances undergo scientific testing and are synthetically produced, once tested, and proven safe.

These ‘legalizers’ though, saw the possibility of having their drug of choice legalized and in 13 states they’ve made it much farther than they should have!   They’ve even had those who side with them, produce bogus studies saying pot is safe and efficacious, etc.

Now the feds are beginning to move against them.   23 Colorado “medical excuse marijuana” dispensaries have been ordered to shut down or undergo prosecution from the federal government.

It’s about time! 

Throughout history there are many examples of people’s sound deductive reasoning before they had empirical evidence to confirm their reasoning.  

Long before the wonders of microbiology, we had the “germ theory of disease.” Likewise, many of today’s medicines are based on folk cures and potions developed by trial and error.

But now, these Snake-Oil-Salesmen tread that path precariously, for we have a scientific path to producing medicines but these “legalizers” sought to legalize by popular vote instead, … a vote via help of the media and the wealthy drug profiteers like George Soros!

Before we understood the direct connection between tobacco smoking and lung disease, we knew or were at least were aware, that smoking was probably not healthful, yet doctors were hired to say different and the media published their advertisements.

This past week the news media” and even some scientific and medical media sources publicized the “remarkable discovery” that occasional pot smoking does not damage lung tissue.

The head of Drug Watch International commented:

“Why this was news is beyond me. As I told a friend, it would be like saying plutonium-238 does not cause tooth decay. How easy it is at times, to overlook the obvious.”

NBC owned media network G4, reported this … “remarkable discovery” and commented “Way to go, stoners!”   These media sources are obviously not to be trusted!

The Alexander Hamilton bridge in New York, is being built … but NOT by American workers, nor by American firms.  Also, in San Francisco area, a new Bay Bridge is under construction, and in Alaska, there’s even another. 

They’re all being awarded to a government owned firm … in China!   Remember his promises?

And remember Jeff Immelt, of General Electric? The guy Obama put in charge of bringing jobs to the U.S.?   The same guy who then took American jobs to China, jobs that had been held by Americans, in America?

Whaddya think?  Maybe he has a part in this again?  Either way, Obama Does, and here’s the ABC news video.   (There is a short commercial … very short!)

Marijuana smoke doesnt just get you high.

On Tuesday, major newspapers and pro-pot blogs alike published stories with the headline “Marijuana use does not harm the lungs.”

They reported a surprising finding in a study of over 5,000 people, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, that occasional marijuana use did not harm the lungs. Heavier use, such as very frequent use, as well as occasional tobacco use, however, did show a decline a lung function.

Most surprisingly, the study’s authors speculate that the mild beneficial effects they found in occasional marijuana smokers could be due to enhanced lung capacity resulting from the heavy and extended inhalations entailed in marijuana smoking.

On the flip side, since beneficial lung effects were only observed in occasional marijuana smokers, the authors speculate that exposure to potential toxins was insufficient to outweigh or undo the observed benefits they report.

It’s an intriguing study. After it was published, some former Oxford colleagues and I looked at the researcher’s methods and study design. We didn’t find anything in the study design to question its methodology. Yes, it would have made sense to test the THC levels of marijuana in these smokers, who started using 20 years ago, when the THC and tar levels were much lower than they are today. But the researchers followed standard protocol, and there is no reason to believe they had a pre-set agenda. They were, by all news accounts, judicious and cautious about making grand claims about marijuana’s positive health effects.

In fact, the lead researcher admitted that “Marijuana is clearly an irritative smoke for the lungs,” citing coughing after taking a “hit” to illustrate his point.

This study looked at one single outcome—lung capacity.

The truth is that marijuana is linked to all kinds of respiratory problems, and studies have consistently shown this, although they barely gain much attention—perhaps because people have come to expect such findings. Long-term studies from the USA and New Zealand have shown that regular cannabis smokers report more symptoms of chronic bronchitis than non-smokers.

There is a four-fold greater quantity of cannabis smoke particles (tar) in the respiratory tract compared to the tar generated from the same amount of smoked tobacco. Again, the way marijuana is smoked may have something to do with this: marijuana smokers hold their breath significantly longer than tobacco smokers. Interestingly, this latest study shows that the heavy breathing in done by the occasional marijuana smokers may help them—but only in the short run, since more frequent use seems to wipe out any benefit.

But marijuana smoke also includes an enzyme that converts some hydrocarbons into a cancer-causing form, potentially accelerating the changes that produce malignant cells. Animal lungs exposed to cannabis smoke developed abnormal cell growth and accelerated malignant transformation, to a greater extent than those exposed to tobacco. An interesting note is that researchers caution HIV positive individuals who smoke cannabis may be predisposed to pulmonary infections and pneumonia, a consequence that no doubt warrants further investigation.

Sadly, advocates caught up in their adulation of the JAMA finding neglected to mention any of these findings from the over four decades of research tying marijuana use to mucosal injury, inflammation, increased cough and phlegm production, and wheezing. They also left out marijuana’s link to increased bronchitis, worsening of asthma symptoms, and worsening of cystic fibrosis symptoms. (In case you’re wondering, the evidence linking marijuana and lung cancer are mixed, with a recent study stating that “cannabis smoking increases the risk of developing a lung cancer independently of an eventual associated tobacco exposure.” Other studies have failed to find such a link.)

I asked a few other experts for their take on the study. Mark Gold, perhaps the most distinguished professor in the country on drugs and the brain and body, told me, “It is possible, but not proven, that cannabis smoke may be less toxic than cigarette smoke, but it is not better than clean air. Clear, unbiased, and convincing evidence of safety and comparable efficacy are needed for therapeutic claims. It is smoke, after all.”

“Columbus brought Tobacco to the ‘New World’ and it took nearly 500 years for absolute proof of tobacco smoke dangerousness to be established,” Gold continued. “To this day, each year, over 400,000 United States deaths are due to tobacco smoke. We had occasional tobacco smokers in the 18th century and textbooks written describing the wonders and medicinal value of tobacco smoking. The occasional smoker increasingly becomes an anachronism with increased access augmented by social marketing, claims of therapeutic efficacy, reduced stigma and price.”

Bob DuPont, the man who introduced modern drug treatment to Washington D.C. and served three presidents as founding director of the National Institute on Drug Abuse, said, “Every user of alcohol or marijuana starts out intending to be a moderate, infrequent user and is quickly reassured that this goal is easily achieved. But it does not work out that way for a significant proportion of those initial users.”

Furthermore, he asks, “What other health-related advice is justified when a large minority of people who take that advice suffer terrible—often fatal—consequences?”

Indeed, one could imagine a study on speeding that would show the vast majority of people who speed do so safely and get to their destinations faster than those who obey speed limits. They are not arrested and have no accidents—in fact, for some reason researchers are still not sure about, they tend to have significantly less accidents than slower drivers. But that doesn’t mean we would suddenly approve of speeding and promote its activity.

We still have a long way to go to fully understand how, why, and if marijuana affects all different kinds of bodily functions, and certainly this new research should lead us to more serious study of marijuana’s effect on the lungs specifically. Any objective look at the existing science will show that marijuana causes decreased cognitive skills (including attention, motivation, memory and learning), as well as impaired driving, psychosis, or panic during intoxication, and addiction, which occurs in about one in every 10 users (a number similar to alcohol, and lower than cocaine, which addicts about one in six people who ever use it).

There is no doubt that this finding on lung function and marijuana gives us much to mull over. For example, a longitudinal study is needed that looks at current trends of high dose marijuana and heavy users, especially those using frequently for “medical purposes.” But to say that marijuana smoke is now good for you, as some have suggested, is both disingenuous and dangerous.

There are different kinds of delegates who vote at the primary convention … some are bound to vote for the winner of their state’s primary; some are NOT.   The convention is set to take place 8/27/2012, where the Occupy idiots are bound to show up.   I call them that because they have disruption in mind as their goal, not correcting the corruption.

It’s a game for those who are trying to manipulate the elections from behind the scene and we’ve let it become this corrupt by not participating … something those who seek power count on!

Romney’s camp want other candidates to stay in the race …. that’ll make it easier for him to look as if he’s the winner although many doubt that he’ll be UNABLE to exceed 30% of the vote in 90% of the states …..

When any candidate nears Romney’s total, you can count on the machines of negative politics swinging into full steam ahead!   Is it a political power grab by a religion?   We may just see, …. if he wins ….   Then again, if it looks like Obama might not win the election, many are saying the dollar will collapse and / or there’ll be some other reason to call out the military and institute Martial Law!
